12" DOILY LIZBETH THREAD

I have had a lot of medical problems, and haven't done much tatting in the last 3 months . I was in the hospital 3 times in those 3 months, I had back surgery, and then had a lot of complications after that.
I did manage to make this doily in between hosp stints. I used Lizbeth thread in size 20 in a very dark purple , and lavender.If anyone is interested in the color numbers, just e mail me at unitabear2@aol.com

I copied and pasted the pattern into e mail and printed it off. went back to get the name of designer, and the pattern was no longer on the net. I thought it was a very plain looking doily until I decided to use the two colors. everyone just loves this doily . I enjoyed making it and just sorry I didn't copy the designer's name down. if anyone knows please let me know.

#25 FOR 25 MOTIF CHALLENGE

Last , but not Least. I promised to publish this when I finished, so here it is. I used size 80 Dmc cordonnet thread in ecru color.

This is an old old pattern.Designed by Adeline Cordet. The Pattern was missing the whole bottom part, everything below the row of roses and wheels. Thank goodness I have a great teacher that figured it out from the photo we had that was in an old book.

I had a lot of frustrating times, but am very proud of the final outcome.

#23 for 25 MOTIF CHALLENGE

This is Penny without her cute tatted hat She is a Needle Felted(by me) bear and I designed her dress.She is a pincushion.

She won a Blue Ribbon at the Los Angeles County Fair. I entered her in the tatting division.

I won another blue ribbon, and one red ribbon for a doily I tatted and framed.

Penny's dress is made of size 13 dmc perle cotton.

I will list her again when I get her back with her cute hat.

This motif is a class project in designing lead by Sharon Briggs,She is really a great teacher.

The second row is my design.It is quite difficult to try and come up with anything that has not been designed before.

I am learning a lot in this class, and really enjoy it,

#21 for 25 MOTIF CHALLENGE

This is a plain black T-Shirt that I decorated with tatting to make it a lovely blouse. I just cut the ribbed part out of the neck, then hemmed by hand. The piece around the neck is from Rebecca Jones book. The heart is from Patti Dunn's Mini Tats book.I used size 10 DMC Cordonnet thread.You can just take an old rag of a T-shirt and make a lovely blouse .

Maybe this is not fair, but this is something I am working on, it is quite a large project for me.

Sure doesn't go very fast, but is very interesting,

I will post the finished project, but it will be a long time before I finish.
